An alternative solution is to build your own Linux Debian System thanks to the script //qemu-debian-create-image.sh// located in //debootstrap// subdirectory. For instance, the //minbase// system provided with //QemuNet// is a Debian Unstable system built with this script. It is just 400MB compressed! It is mainly based on [[https://wiki.debian.org//Debootstrap|Debootstrap]] package. This script is freely adapted from http://diogogomes.com/2012/07/13/debootstrap-kvm-image/ and https://gist.github.com/jalsot/a24aa543021889ad0c70 .

If you are just interested by this script to build a light QEMU raw image, you can just get it like this...
